Als Win To Continue Season
Their Defence Dominated With Three Turnovers And Zero Touchdowns Allowed
In a 27-12 win, the Alouettes dominated on both sides. On offence, Cody Fajardo had 212 yards 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. On defence, Darnell Sankey picked off Bo Levi Mitchell and the East’s Most Outstanding Canadian nominee Mark-Antoine Dequoy picked off Matthew Shiltz to seal the win in the last minute. Dionte Ruffin also forced a fumble that Avery Williams recovered. William Stanback had 95 rushing yards on 18 carries. Tyler Snead and Austin Mack both had a long (25+ yard) catch, Mack’s for a touchdown.
For Hamilton, Bo Levi did start but barely played. He was 1/4 with 6 yards and an interception. Mathew Shiltz had 144 yards on 13 catches, 0 touchdowns and 1 pic. James Butler had 83 rushing yards, but they scored 0 touchdowns, so the yards meant almost nothing. Richard Lenard picked off Cody Fajardo, but that was the only defence. Their kicker Marc Leigghio was good, 4/4 with a long of 47.
Montreal will face off against the Argonauts next Saturday at 3:00 PM ET.
