Bombers Sign Lucky Whitehead To Help With Injuries

Adding Lucky will help with Lawler and Schoen.

Lucky Whitehead is returning to Winnipeg after 3 seasons with the BC Lions. Lucky was a CFL all star in 2021, and had a 1,000 yards season in 2022.

Lucky Whitehead began his CFL career in 2019 with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He caught 52 passes for 521 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Winnipeg's star wide receiver Dalton Schoen is out for the season with a knee injury, and Lawler and rookie Keric Wheatfall are on the six game injured list.
