Hi guys, I’m back. I know you (most likely didn’t) miss me. I’ve been trying my best to post as much as possible, but it’s just so hard. With my school and my website being blocked, I have to type it on a Google Doc, email it to my phone, open my substack on my phone, sign in, add a new post, copy and paste, then edit it for bolded words or larger fonts because those don't copy. Sounds like a lot of work right? It is, but I love writing my articles instead of keeping up on the new fun unblocked games site, and I love the support I get from my longtime and active subs. Thank you
, , and . My first post was February 16, 2023 on a google site that I unpublished. It was about free agency signings. I had no idea what I was doing, I was basically rewording CFL.CA’s edition of the post, but now I know what I’m talking about. I know who the players are, who is good and who is bad, I know how to write a good, interesting article that ChatGPT says is college level writing from the 7th grader you’re currently reading. Thanks, now back to canadian football. With the first overall pick of the 2024 CFL Draft, the Edmonton Elks select, Joel Dublanko out of Cinncinatti and the 2023 Philly Stars of the USFL. I know little about the CFL Draft even after covering the CFL for over a year, but I know Joel Dublanko is happy to be in Green and Gold. He said “I had a lot of family up in Edmonton, and just the fact that Edmonton had the number-one pick and there was a chance of this happening, I give all the glory to God.” Joey’s grandparents first date was at an Edmonton football game. Also, his cousin Curtis Dublanko was on the Edmonton Eskimos in 2014. Another Cincinnatti star in the CFL is 2 time grey cup champ, 4 straight western conference titles, Winnipeg QB, Zach Collaros.
The Ottawa Redblacks had the second overall pick, and they took Auburn wide receiver Nick Mardner. Mardner did not get selected in the NFL Draft this season, but will have a chance at the NFL this month at the New York Giants mini-camp. Nick was the first ever Aubuurn player to be taken in the CFL Draft, and also was the Redblacks first ever first round wide receiver.
The 2024 global draft had the same order, with Edmonton taking Eteva Mauga-Clements first overall in that draft. Eteva is American-Samoan, and is the second straight American-Samoan first overall Global draft pick. He played for Nebraska, and dressed every game during his senior season, including 2 starts at linebacker. The Redblacks took Vandy punter Matt Hayball, but Hayball has signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent.
Aw dude! Don't talk so bad about yourself! We all missed you!
