Colgate Dominates To Advance To The Big Dance
The Colgate Raiders beat the Lehigh Mountain Hawks 74-55 in the Patriot League Finals.
On Wednesday, the #1 Colgate Raiders crushed the #6 Lehigh Mountain Hawks 74-55 to reach the Madness. Colgate led by 19 at halftime and tied Lehigh in the second half.
Brady Cummins led Colgate with 19 points and 4 rebounds in only 20 minutes. Braeden Smith had 15 points, 5 assists, and 12 rebounds for a double-double. Jeff Woodward was the last player in double figures for the Raiders. He had 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist.
Only one player had 10+ points for Lehigh. That was Nasir Whitlock who had 17 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. You know that Jim Boeheim is not coaching the Mountain Hawks because 15 different players played for Lehigh. Similarly, 14 players played for Colgate.
