Demerio Houston Reportedly Heading To Clagary
From Winnipeg to Calgary, where he hopes to lead the Stamps to the playoffs, then a Grey Cup.
The all-star DB from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers is on the mover to Calgary for two years, reported Dan Palph of the Canadian Press.
After being limited by injuries in his first two years with Winnipeg, Demerio returned strongly, leading the CFL with 7 interceptions and recovered three fumbles. Houston had a big part in the Bombers’ west finals game against the Lions when he picked off QB Vernon Adams Jr.
In his Winnipeg career, he had 84 defensive tackles, 9 interceptions and a touchdown in 30 games.
