Gonzaga Defeats Saint Mary’s To Win WCC For 5th Time In 6 Years

Saint Mary’s beat the Zags last year, but the 4 before that Gonzaga won the WCC.

Saint Mary’s beat Gonzaga twice in the regular season, and last year’s WCC Championship, but Gonzaga got revenge for all of that yesterday.

Braden Huff led the way for the Zags with 18 points. Khalif Battle scored 14, Graham Ike scored 11, and Ryan Nembhard scored 10.

Mitchell Saxen scored 20 and had 7 rebounds. Augustas Marciulionis scored 12 points, had 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. Luke Barrett scored 9 points and 9 rebounds.

The Zags are projected a 7 seed and playing Drake in the 8-10 matchup. They will find out who they play on Sunday during the selection show.
