The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will play the Montreal Alouettes at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario. This will be the fourth straight Grey Cup for Winnipeg and their QB Zach Collaros. Cody Fajardo won one Grey Cup in 2017 with the Argos. Collaros has won 2 but has made it to four straight. Both QBs were rookies in 2016
Collaros went to Cincinnati after growing up in Ohio. He is 35 years old but is still one of the best in the CFL. In 18 games this year, he was 291/422, a completion percentage of 69% (68.9%) with a career-high 4252 yards, 33 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. In his career, he has 19545 yards, 127 yards, and 63 interceptions.
Cody Fajardo is younger, 31 years old, and he went to Nevada after he was born in California. This year in 18 games he is 317/444 with 3847 yards, 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. In his 7-year career, he has 14893 yards, 67 touchdowns, and 45 interceptions.
This is bound to be a great Grey Cup, but the QB difference might make the difference.
