Happy Canada Day From CFL WEEKLY

To my Canadian readers, happy Canada day.

While the weekend slate of games didn’t go in favor of the now 0-4 Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Edmonton Elks, or the Hamilton Tiger Cats, there still is something by to celebrate. That would be Canada Day! I’m not from Canada, but I impressed Canadian baseball players at Cooperstown Dreams Park last year with my knowledge of the provinces and territories. We even pretended to be a team from Manitoba called the Manitoba Mashers. We were actually there this week last year. But Canada day is to celebrate the country of Canada, so to my many Canadian readers, and all the players I hope to someday interview while working for tsn, Happy Canada Day.
