Libscomb Wins ASUN Championship In Closest Championship So Far

Libscomb defeated North Alabama 76-65 yesterday.

The Lipscomb Bison pulled away late from the University of North Alabama to win its second ASUN Championship. Lipscomb was tied at 56 with 6:27 on the clock before they pulled away to win by 11.

Joe Anderson led both teams in scoring for Lipscomb with 23 points. Will Pruitt had 17 points, Gyasi Powell had 16 points, and Jacob Ognacevic had 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead for Lipscomb.

Jacari Lane scored 18 to lead for North Alabama, Corneilous Williams had 15 points, and Will Soucie had 10 points. Taye Fields had 12 rebounds along with 6 assista and 6 points as well.

Libscomb will find out who they play on Sunday during the selection show.
