Mack Attack Is Back In Montréal
Austin Mack is back with the Als after playing in the Falcons preseason game.
Austin Mack is back in the CFL, and is back with the Alouettes, the team announced on Monday. Austin Mack signed with the Atlanta Falcons in January, played in their preseason game with Nathan Rourke, then was cut on the 14th, just 4ndays after Nathan was cut by the same franchise.
General manager Dannh Maciocia said that “We just added a star receiver to our roster and we are very happy about it. Mack was a key part of our success in 2023; he knows our coaches, our players, and is familiar with our systems. Plus, he’s someone who brings a lot with his positive attitude. It’s a great day for our organization.”
Former CFL all star was the main piece in the Als Grey Cup run last season. He had 103 yards and a touchdown in the Grey Cup game last year.
The Montréal Alouettes will take on the Edmonton Elks at home next Sunday at 7:00 PM EST.
