March Madness Day 1 Predictions

ASU takes on St Francis and UNC takes on SDSU.

Alabama State and Saint Francis are currently halfway through the first half of their First Four game in Dayton, Ohio. Alabama State was the winner of the SWAC tournament championship over Jackson State 60-56. Mississippi Valley State was obviously robbed of both a SWAC tournament bid and a March Madness at-large bid, so instead we get to watch ASU. The winner of this game gets to play the #1 overall seed, Auburn, in the first round or March Madness. Chances are this will be the only win either of them gets, but either way it’s an amazing experience for the teams. I think St Francis will win, not because I think

UNC vs SDSU is the main event of the night, with the winner being the 11 seed in the South Division against Ole Miss. UNC wasn’t projected to make March Madness, but they managed to sneak into the last spot. I think they will end up winning against SDSU, and RJ Davis will have a huge game. I think UNC has a realistic chance at beating Ole Miss, but I’d SDSU wins I don’t think they will win.
