March Madness Day 2 Predictions

Mount St Mary’s takes on American and Xavier takes on Texas to wrap up the first four.

Yesterday had some amazing First four action with ASU hitting a walk off layup against St Francis and UNC having a huge game.

Today Mount Saint Mary’s of the MAAC takes on American of the Patriot League. I know very little about either of these teams to be honest, so I’m going to pick Mount St Marys to win just because they’re from Saint Peter’s conference. The winner will be a 16 seed and play against Duke.

For the second game, Xavier and Texas are both strong teams with plenty of history. Both are at large bids, Texas from the SEC and Xavier from the Big East. The winner of this game will play against Illinois in the first round. I think Texas will win this game, which may be considered an upset win by record.
