Montréal Alouettes Clinch Playoff Berth With Redblack, Argos’ losses.
Down go the Argos and the Redblacks, giving the Als a clinched spot in the postseason.
The 10-1 Montréal Alouettes have clinched the playoffs officially as the BC Lions beat the Ottawa Redblacks, and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats beat the Toronto Argonauts.
The Alouettes are heavily favored to win the Grey Cup this year and are currently on pace for the best record in CFL history at 17-1, or tying the record with last year's Argos and the 1989 Edmonton Eskimos. Both of these teams however lost in the East Final, their first playoff game. This week's game for Montréal is currently the most likely Grey Cup scenario, with the Als taking on Nathan Rourke (or Vernon Adams Jr) and their BC Lions.
