Robert Morris Wins First Ever Horizon League Championship Over Youngstown State
Both the Penguins and the Colonials were in their first ever Horizon League Championship but the Guins fell.
Robert Morris is headed back to the NCAA tournament for the first time in ten years after a 89-78 win over the Youngstown State Penguins.
Josh Omojafo scored 24 points to lead both teams, but also had 13 rebounds. Kam Woods scored 17 with 6 boards and 5 assists. Alvaro Folgueiras scored 14 points, had 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. Amarion Dickerson scored 13 points and 5 rebounds, and DJ Smith scored 11 points, and had 6 assists.
Juwan Maxey led the Penguins with 23 points, followed by Nico Galette with 21 points and 7 rebounds, and Gabe Dynes with 11 points and 19 rebounds.
