The OVC is the first conference to crown a champion so far as SIUE beat Southeast Missouri 69-48.

The Ohio Valley Champions are officially the SIUE Cougars after defeating the #1 seed Southeast Missouri 69-48. This is SIUEs first ever conference championship, and their first trip to March Maddness.

#1 seeded Omaha dominated #5 seeded South Dakota en route to the Summit League Championship against St. Thomas. STMN is the 2 seed, but they are not eligible for March Maddness since they have not completed their transition to division 1 yet, so Omaha has clinched the tournament win or lose.
