It is officially 1 third into the season so it's time for the power rankings.
Number 1: BC Lions
The 5-1 BC Lions lead the West have been dominant. They beat Saskatchewan to give them their first loss. Saskatchewan has been amazing this season starting 4-0.
Number 2: Montreal Alouettes
The reigning champs have been impressive this year with a 5-1 record and leading the east; but Vernon Adam’s Jr has shown that he is number one in this league right now for BC.
Number 3: Toronto Argonauts
Toronto suck into third after the Riders lost starting quarterback Trevor Harris to the 6 game IR. The Argos are 3-2 with losses to Saskatchewan with Trevor and Montreal. But last week they beat the Alouettes.
Number 4: Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Riders are 4-1 and in second in the west, but with the Trevor Harris injury, they will struggle without a strong backup option.
Number 5: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
I still have hope that Wippipeg can make the playoffs after starting 0-4 but winning the last two games to go 2-4. They will play the Riders which is a winnable game with Trevor Harris’ injury. Winnipeg still has hope and will look to hit 500 in the next 2 weeks.
Number 6: Ottawa Redblacks
Dru Brown has shown success with his new team with a 3-2 record. Dru defeated his former team in week 2 and they walked off Edmonton last week.
Number 7: Calgary Stampeders
The Calgary Stampeders have a 2-3 record to start the season, and they lost a 41-37 affair with the Bombers last week. Calgary has a tough week when they play BC this week, but they dominated BC last year in week 18 in the running game.
Number 8: Edmonton Elks
Where is Tre Ford?
He hasn't played at all this season and their record shows it. I said at the beginning of the year Edmonton is a good team with Tre, and won't be good without him, and I'm halfway right. They haven't let Tre prove himself enough? Do they not remember the game he won for them to end the streak? They need to play him more and honestly they don't deserve to win games with him not playing at all.
Number 9: Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Another 0-5 team in the CFL and against Toronto I don't know if they can win this week. But if Edmonton loses too they play each other both at 0-6 for their first win.
