East Semifinal Is Next

Hamilton plays at Montreal

It is the best time of the CFL season, playoff time. The eastern semifinals kick off at 3:00 ET from Montreal. The Tiger-Cats lost to the Als last week 22-20, so I expect this to be a good, close game. Hamilton announced that Bo Levi Mitchell and Matthew Shiltz would play, hoping to lead them to the east final against the reigning champ Toronto Argonauts. Last week when Montreal won the Ticats played Taylor Powell and Bo Levi, a different look than we will see this week.

Montreal started Cody Fajardo, but backups Davis Alexander and Caleb Evans played. Montreal is the home team, so expect them to start strong. Montreal has the best defence in the league so I expect a few pics off of Bo Levi Mitchell and Mathew Shiltz. The Alouettes finished 11-7 and the Tig-Cats were 8-10. 3 games ahead does not seem like a lot, but in football, it is.

My prediction for this game is Hamilton Tiger-Cats 24 - 31 Montreal Alouettes. I think Cody Fajardo will have a great game, to lead them to Toronto.
