The Calgary Stampeders and the BC Lions both have proved they are good enough to be playing today. BC had a great season under Vernon Adams Jr. The 2 teams’ records mirror each other. BC was 12-6 and Calgary was 6-12. Calgary may not seem like a playoff team with that record, but they are the only team to beat the Argos for real. Winnipeg beat them, but with many Toronto backups starting. They also crushed BC in week 20 with a score of 41-6 Stampeders. VA started and came out after getting hit a few times in the 2nd. They have proved they can win in big spots also, week 20 was do or die.
For BC, they almost had the 1 seed in the west, in fact, they were 5 yards shirt. When they played the Bombers, they had the ball on the 40 with 7 seconds left. VA threw a deep pass, but he almost got tackled at the 20. That would have been fine with BC because they could have kicked a field goal. But he kept going and was tackled on the 5 with no time left. Then they lost to Calgary to give Winnipeg the west. They were not happy with losing either game, but now they are looking for revenge. I think BC will win narrowly. It will be very close the whole time.
