Winnipeg clinches west with BC loss

BC losses to Calgary giving Winnipeg the west.

Winnipeg has clinched the west and can rest some of their players in the final week of regular play. They will get a bye in the playoffs, and BC will play Calgary in the west semi-finals. Winnipeg also won their game against Edmonton 45-25, so even if BC won Winnipeg would have clinched. Edmonton has a bye in week 21, so they finish the season 4-14. Their highlight of the season is definitely their win against Ottawa to snap a 22-game home win streak.
